About This Demonstration
This is a working prototype developed by Axiom Data to demonstrate capability for a Defence strategic communications use case. It showcases a purpose-built Pacific media intelligence platform — from automated ingestion and AI classification through to structured analytical briefing. The platform is deployed and accessible online for evaluation.
Several modules are live and processing real data today, while others use synthetic data to demonstrate the interface and capability ahead of integration. The status of each feature is marked below.

Four Strategic Lenses
Every article ingested by Pulsica is classified through one of four analytical lenses, providing a structured framework for understanding Pacific media coverage by strategic domain.
Defence
Military cooperation, security agreements, force posture, AUKUS, naval deployments
Political
Elections, governance changes, diplomatic relations, sovereignty issues, policy shifts
Community
Climate adaptation, health, education, infrastructure, cultural events, aid programs
Foreign Influence

The AI assigns a primary lens and zero or more secondary lenses to each article. For example, a story about Chinese naval exercises near PNG would receive Defence as primary and Foreign Influence as secondary. Articles are also scored for sentiment (−1.0 to +1.0) and relevance (0.0 to 1.0), with low-relevance content automatically filtered from analytics.
